Create a Windows 7 recovery disc.

Windows 7 is one of the more stable versions of Microsoft’s operating systems but sometimes, as with all technology, things can and do go wrong.

How would you repair your PC or Laptop installation if you couldn’t boot into Windows?

You could use a Windows installation disc, but if you have a PC and Laptop which came with Windows 7 pre-installed chances are you were not supplied with one. Instead your computer manufacturer will have provided access to alternative recovery options on your system.

If these options cannot be accessed one thing that might just get you running again is a system repair disc.

You can create your own repair disc from within Windows 7 to use when something goes wrong.

Open the Control Panel in icon mode and select Backup and Restore

Select > Create System Repair Disc

Insert a DVD into your CD/DVD drive

Select > Create Disc

Once you have created your Windows system repair disc make sure and label it and keep it safe, you never know when you might need it.
